Good morning! I have a prayer request to add to the list...
My dad is having knee surgery today and I would appreciate if all of you would pray for wisdom for the doctor (Dr. Hamilton), comfort for my Dad (for both nervousness and pain) and strength for both my mom and dad during his recovery. He will have to be on crutches for at least 6 weeks after the surgery. This was an unexpected procedure (they found out he needed it on Monday). Please keep him in your prayers! I appreciate it so much and will keep you updated.
Love,
Mary Helen

Mary Helen, we will definitely pray for your dad! Bill did surgery on Jerry's knee one time, and he healed amazingly quickly! Hopefully, Pat will do the same!
I will pray for him! Tell him I said hi!
Thanks, guys! I really appreciate it.
I will pray for Pat, also. Tell your dad if he needs sympathy to call me. I can certainly empathize. Bill Hamilton is great.
Mary Helen, I will pray for your dad (and mom too) and I can even keep an eye on him when I move to Creek next week!!!
Just an update for everyone...
Dad just got out of surgery and is in recovery. Sally, Mom and my Uncle Mike are at the hospital with him. The only problem they are having is that they are not sure how they are going to get him up the stairs tonight :)
Well, maybe he could just sleep on some blankets in the garage!!! Just kidding!
I am sure he would just love that, Alana! Talk about night sweats. I will make sure to give them that suggestion :) I think they have decided that with Lee's help, he might be able to do it.
hey, maybe he can sleep on the coatch? hey, did you tell him I said hi!?
When I called earlier, he was asleep so I told my mom to tell him that you said hi. I promise I will tell him myself tomorrow morning when I talk to him! I know he will LOVE that :)
PS - They did get him up the stairs okay. Lee and Dr. Hamilton both helped him. What a great doctor! He is sound asleep now and only in a little bit of pain.
