Birthday dinner delight

Now isn't Nana BEAUTIFUL!

We had a lovely evening tonight eating, telling stories, laughing and just enjoying each other's company. The menu was honey lemon chicken, mango salsa, Rome salad, oven fries, focaccia bread, ratatoui, lemon pie and coconut cream pie. NO SAUSAGE WRAP!!

Okay we were all miserably full and wished we hadn't eaten so much !!! Perhaps Monday we will start our diets.

The food was absolutely delicious! Kim, as usual you were a very gracious host, and Kirby, you certainly did your part, too! Taylor, the pie was fabulous! I am so impressed! Thanks for the very nice, relaxing evening!

Kim, Kirby, and Taylor -- Thanks for such a wonderful birthday supper last night. You were so thoughtful to go to so much trouble to help me celebrate. The food lived up to Kim's reputation as the best cook in the world although Taylor's pie was right up there at the top. It did beat my suggestion of sausage wraps but please do not tell the King of Bavaria! Again - Many thanks! Nana1

Kim, Kirby, and Taylor,
Thanks for not letting Nelwyn have her way with the sausage wraps. The meal was delicious. Wish I had eaten two pieces of each kind of pie. The rest of you family members really missed a treat. Nelwyn,s hanging basket was beautiful, and we probably are going to Lonesome Pine tomorrow for the other things.

Wish we could have been there to celebrate with y'all. The menu sounds wonderful.

...how did you get any of the dishes done without Melissa there to help? Just stirring the pot...

There were plenty of people there with the god-given gift of cleaning. Kim, Nelwyn, Alana, Jana, Betsy and even Kirby and Taylor. Now...who needs another cleaner in the kitchen with that lineup?

You are right, Melissa! You would have only crowded us!

No really Melissa we really did miss your "sweet cleaning up skills".
