I really admire these kinds of things about you, Kim. You inspire me to be a good mom, a hard worker, a good cook, a great housekeeper and (not to run a marathon because if you think cleaning dishes isn't my gift, you haven't seen me try to run a mile)to stay in great shape and health.
You rock!!
Good job, Kim! You did an amazing job today and we are all very proud of you. What an accomplishment! It was exciting to be a part of the festivities and watch you and Kyle along the way.
This all started with an invitation from Tyler to run the White Rock Marathon last spring. Unfortunately Tyler ran into some training injuries that just wouldn't heal. I have uptrained for marathons in the past and due to illness, life events didn't make it. So I know the frustration Tyler felt.
I want to thank Kirby, Tyler, Mary Helen, Kurt, Emily and Ned cheering me along the way. Again they were MasterCard moments...Priceless. Honestly, there were times were I was getting discouraged and ready to give up and then I would look up and there they were yelling..."you look great!" And that was all I needed to keep going. This is a life lesson ...never under estimate the power of a few words of encouragement to get us through the tough time. The last 3 miles were tough, but I kept thinking of them (and my brother, Kyle) at the finish line. There they were hands out for me to high 5 them. It is a thill to complete a marathon!!
I love the pictures...Thanks I could not have made it with out you.
Way to go mom! I'm so sorry Cody and I had to miss the excitement. I am so proud of you. You go Girl!
Kim, way to go! I'm just going to state the obvious and say...how can you have that smile while you're running? I'd probably be ghost white and crying. Anyway, great job!
Kim, I am absolutely amazed! Is there anything that you cannot do? You do everything well (from being a wonderful wife,mother,daughter-in-law,cook,interior decorator, therapist, friend, and the list could go on and on)! I forgot to add "hostess with the mostess" for family gatherings. I am very prooud of you! Love, Nana 1
Those are great pictures! Kim, I am so proud of you! It makes me want to aspire to run a marathon...or just run at all. I think I am going to set a goal for 2009 to do something spectacular!! Seriously, I am so very impressed with all that you do and accomplish!
OK, it's all been said about how wonderful you are, but seriously....YOU ROCK!!!! the kids, joel and i think you are from "Planet Awesome!!!"
way to go!!!! congrats!!!!:)
All I can say is WOW! I can't even imagine.
Congratulations, Kim...and Kyle, too! I hope to be as "in shape" a parent as you two are!
