Jessica and I leave for New York on Friday. Please pray for safe travels for us as we fly there on Friday and back on Monday.
Please also pray that God would bless our time together and that we would make great memories together on this mother/daughter trip.
Here are a few things we plan on doing:
Friday: we have broadway tickets to Mary Poppins
Saturday: brunch at the American Girl Cafe and hanging with Drew...going ice skating in Rockefeller Center, taking pictures in front of the tree.
Sunday: eating lunch at Grimaldi's Pizzaria in Brooklyn (I've been there and it's incredible..was Frank Sinatra's favorite pizza place), going to FAO Schwartz to get a toy for Jess and Ava.
This should be a really memorable trip for Jess!

This will be a trip Jessica will remember forever! I am so glad you are able to do something so much fun with her. I know Drew can't wait to see you in his neck of the woods. Grimaldi's is delicious. Eat a piece of pizza for me. Give Drew a big hug for me and you will definitely be in my prayers!

What wonderful memories you will make! We ate at Grimaldi's with our friend Sarah and it was wonderful. Enjoy every moment and be safe. We will say our prayers for you. ...And happy almost 10th birthday Jess. One week to go!!!
My heart was overflowing at all the good wishes and assurances of prayers for Melissa and Jess from all of you. (I almost pulled a Nelwyn and was unable to write.) HOWEVER, it's at times like this that I feel that Nelwyn and I have been blessed with an unbelievable family from the Lord. That's including the Armstrong family as well.
This is going to be the birthday of a lifetime for Jessica! I will be praying the entire time for safety and wonderful experiences!! I wish I was going, too! When Ava turns 10 and you take her, I will go along (you will need the help)! Jessica and Melissa, have a wonderful time!! I love you both so much!!
