So...I talked to Mary Helen on the phone Sunday night as she and Tyler called to congratulate Nate and me and the girls on baby Navarro...and literally two days later had a card in the mail congratulating us again. It had the sweetest note inside too!
I mean...who takes the time to get a card for someone just because they find out their pregnant?? Umm...Nelwyn and Mary Helen do.
Mary Helen, thank you so much. It really did mean a lot to receive that in the mail and I'm sure we will all be glad for you to keep up that tradition long after Nelwyn is gone (no offense Nelwyn...I want you to stay around for a long time).
A few tips for you though, Mary Helen. You might want to get with Nelwyn and coordinate ALL dates she has. We got a card from her on our anniversary, valentines, Easter and on ALL birthdays. I'm just sayin'.
All kidding aside...I can't tell you how much I appreciated getting that card in the mail. Thanks again Mary Helen!

Melissa, you are too sweet! You are very welcome for the card. We are so excited about your new little one! I am not as good as Nelwyn with the cards, but I appreciate the nice compliment of you comparing me to her. I don't know if you would if you were around me all the time :) Tell everyone else at your house hello from us. I hope we can see you guys sometime soon!
Thank you for your sweet words about my wonderful wife. While y'all get to experience her thoughtfulness on occasion, I am blessed with it daily! Some people think she "can't be that sweet all the time", but she is! The Lord has blessed both Nana and Mary Helen with a gentle and kind spirit.
On a side note...to Melissa's point, look who the first two to comment were.

(Still waiting for the day she and Nate get sloshed and tell all of the family what they REALLY think.)
Let's spike their punch (or tea) at the next get-together! You know that deep inside they have some really bad thoughts, and I am ready for them to come out!! And don't worry Nelwyn and Mary Helen and Nate...anything you say will not go beyond us!!
