The most rediculously crazy story that involved Jacob Davis

This is a true story...

Setting:
Last Saturday (October 11) Jacob Davis, which most of yall know as my childhood best friend, was at one of his friends house in Austin. This house was a relatively nice house, but the problem was that it was in a bad neighborhood. At this house there were 5 individuals; Jacob, Nathan, Taylor, the owner of the house, and his girlfriend.

Now for the Story:
Jacob and Nathan were out back on the patio, just talking and hanging out, when all the sudden they heard a gunshot that sounded alarmingly close. It was so close in fact that the owner of the house and Taylor, who were both inside when they heard it, actually started looking around inside the house to find where it went off. The owner of the house when to check the front door and the front yard, but everything came up unsuspicious. Taylor on the other hand found a bullet hole exiting from the closet (closest to the front door) down into the carpet just infront of the closet door, so the shot had come from inside the closet. Taylor, not thinking clearly, decides to open the closet door to see what happened. What he finds is about a 6-4 240lbs black guy standing in the closet holding a pistol. He immediately takes off running and screaming for the back door, but realizes just as he about to leave that he needs to warn the others. He then runs to the back patio to tell Jacob and Nathan. All this commiotion alarms the owner of the house, as a result he runs with his girlfriend back to his room and locks the door.

Jacob described Taylor as "sheet white" and he could also see the sheer "fear in his eyes." Just as Taylor makes it to th patio to start warning Jacob and Nathan, the big black guy steps out onto the patio, too. He is still holding his gun and is waving it at all three; threatening to shot! The reason he was there is obivious to rob them. The first person the black guy came to was Nathan, and he started demanding that Nathan give him everything he had. Nathan was very complient, offering everything just as long as he didnt hurt anyone. Once the man was satisfied that he got everything from Nathan, he started beating Nathan over the head with the butt of his gun. Nathan quickly covered his head with his hands, and dropped to the ground. Taylor, still scared out of his mind, does exactly was Nathan does and just lays on the ground. Jacob realizing that the black guy's attention wasn't focused on him, takes his wallet out his back pocket and throws it into the corner of the patio.

Now, the black guy turns his attention to Jacob. He demands that Jacob give him his wallet just like Nathan did. Jacob then tells the man that he doesn't have his wallet, and that it was left out in his truck. The man was not satisfied with this answer, so he proceeds to hit Jacob with the butt of his gun, however the result was not what the man had expected. Jacob caught the barrel of the pistol in his right hand just before it was to strike him on the head. With the gun barrel in his hand, Jacob and the man begin to wrestle over the gun. Jacob is doing everything he can to keep the barrel pointed away from him, while at the same time trying to take it from him. It ended, when the black guy was able to find his feet and use his leverage to rip the guy from Jacob's grip. According to Jacob, the wrestling last about 15 second, but to him it feel like a minute or two. Jacob also said that his idea of wrestling the man for the gun, was either to buy his friends time to escape or for them to jump in and help Jacob fight the guy for the gun.

Well now the situation had deteriorated, because the black guy is now upset that he almost lost the guy. He is pointing the gun at Jacob's face, and cussing at him threatening to shoot. Thankfully, the guy doesn't shoot he just hits Jacob with the butt of his gun some-how accross the forehead. As some of you already know, Jacob is a hemophiliac (which is a condition cause a person to bleed excessiviely). The butt of the gun causes a huge gash on Jacob's forehead, and now blood is pouring out. The only thing Jacob has to stop the bleeding is a floormat, so he holds that over his cut. The black guy now feeling satisfied with new complience from the people on the patio, moves his attention to the others inside.

The black man then walkes back inside, and starts checking each and every bedroom looking for the others. Jacob and the other on the patio can not run away, because the halloway that this guy is walking though is perfectly aligned to where he can still see them. As the man moves from bedroom to bedroom, he comes across the only one that is locked. Realizing that the others are in this bedroom, he pounds on the door demanding that they open it. They don't. So he threatens then that he is going to kick down the door. The owner and his girlfriend dont respond, so he starts kicking at the door. He finnally makes progress and the door starts to give away. Once he finally kicks the door open. Jacob loses sight of him at he steps into the bedroom.

The next thing that happens, terrifies everyone on the patio. They hear three gun shots. Jacob then begins to have all kinds of things run through his mind like: did he just kill my friends, could they just be wounded, or could the shots just have been warning shots. Much to Jacob's shock, the black guy runs out a couple of seconds after the first shot holding his stomach. As he's running out (before Jacob could see him) he fire two random shots into the bedroom with his back turned. These final two shots, were actually nowhere close to hitting the owner of the house and his girlfriend.

Seeing the guy leave the house, Jacob and everyone on the patio ran to bedroom to see what happened and also to see if they were ok. When they get to the doorway, they see their friend (the owner of the house) holding a pistol. The owner had illegally bought this gun and stored it in his room, but he had failed to maintain it in working condition. After he fired the first shot, the gun jammed and he wasnt able to shot the black guy anymore. Fortunately, for him the gun didn't jam before the first shot, because he might have been shot himself (because the black guy would have seen him holding a gun and might have just shot him in reaction).

Still fearing that he might comeback, they immediately called the cops and told them what happened. Much to their releif the cops were there within minutes, but they pulled up with all their sirens going and stopped at the house accross the street. Seeing this, the owner opens the front door and starts hollaring at the the cops saying they have the wrong house, and that he was the one that called the cops. The cops then replied back, demanding that they stay inside. By now cops that had shown up had their guns drawn and had their attention still at the house accross the street. Now everyone was out in the front yard, yelling at the cops that they had the wrong house. All the cops kept saying was get back inside. They finally saw the cops enter the house accross the street, and a few seconds later they had the black guys in handcuffs on the front yard of that house.

What had happened was the black guy's sister lived accross the street, and when he fled he house he ran over there. His sister hearing all the gun shots and realizing that her brother was on drugs and that he was bleeding too, called the cops on him.

The only person to get hurt out of the people who were at the house was Jacob. He ended up having to go to the hospital that night and get 9 stiches for the cut accross his forehead.

How the black guy got in:
Jacob said they dont really know when or how he got into the house and then into the closet. They said that they had been there for about 2 hours, and they were about 95% sure that he hadn't come during that time span. Which means that he came in that afternoon, and hid himself in the closet. He was probably going to stay there, until everyone went to sleep. Once everyone was asleep, he would then rob the house.

The owner of the house:
Jacob said the owner of the house is no longer living there anymore, and has been sleeping on his other friend's couch, while he is searching for a new appartment.

How Jacob told his parents (actually this is funny):
Jacob was taken to the hospital and was forced to stay over night, since he had lost so much blood. He wasn't released until like 9 AM the next morning. However, Jacob doesn't call his mom: right after the instance, or while he is in the waiting room, or after he had been treated, or even when he woke up the next morning. He waited two hours after he had been released to call his mom. This is what he told her: "Mom I've been in an altercation with a black guy, we ended up wrestling and I have to go to the hospital and get 9 stitches." He doesnt mention a gun or anything, just leaves it at that. Of course she was furious at him for not call, when he went to the hospital. Jacob did end up telling his mother the story later that afternoon.
