Ok...I think we have a renter!!! The nicest old man rented it today for his son and daughter in law. His son will be coming home from Iraq in October and his daughter-in-law and grand-daughter will start living there in August. The man who is renting it is so sweet and keeps me on the phone for a minimum of 30 minutes every time we talk. I know what street he lives on in Belton, that he has lived there for 20 years, that he grocery shops at the HEB in Belton once a day, that he goes to Temple twice a day to take his wife to the antique stores, that he has three kids, that sometimes people get his street (River Oaks Dr.) confused with the neighborhood Riverplace in Belton and so on and so on. He goes on and on and on but he's just so nice that I stay on and talk to him. Anyway, he paid the deposit and will begin paying rent in August. Unfortunately Mindy didn't fulfill her obligation and pay July's rent but at least we will only be out that expense one month. Thank you to everyone who made this a matter of prayer!

That is so wonderful to hear! Praise the Lord for an answered prayer...
Isn't God good?!
Yeah! I'm so excited to hear that you got a renter! And, it sounds like they will take care good care of your house, while they are living there. :)
God is just so awesome! He never ceases to amaze me even when I doubt His timing! It sounds like a wonderful situation with good, dependable renters.
What a blessing our Lord is to our family -- His timing is always right! Your Belton home will be a blessing to this young family as they are united again as a family and as the Lord continues to bless your home and family in Austin. Nana 1
The Lord was waiting on the right person to come forward. Not only is your house rented, but it sounds like you are making an old man happy just by listening to him. That's sweet of you, Melissa, because I know how busy you are.
Awesome. He sounds like a nice man and it's perfect timing. Plus, he could be a steady renter for a long time. I'll add it to the "Praise Him for answered prayer section"
Yay! That is wonderful! Praise God for answered prayers. The old man sounds so nice that I want to meet him :) Hope everyone had a very Happy 4th!
