I think most of you all know this but Nate is "making music" again but not so much in the same way he used to. When he quit Wideawake, he told me he never wanted to play music again and honestly, I was totally ok with that. I remember people saying to him "I wouldn't promise yourself that. God has blessed you with a gift and maybe someday you'll find a way to use it." Playing the bar scene had left such a bad taste in his mouth. But...about a year or so ago...he picked up his guitar again and started writing really pretty music that has now turned into a ministry for him. Not only is he a worship leader now but he gets to play shows (at Churches) and use his music to glorify God and show people, through his lyrics, what the grace of God has done in his life.
All that to say...he is starting to play shows and has his first big show at Gateway Church on August 1st. They are expecting about 1000 people to be there and I know that Nate would love it if any of you in the family that could make it, would come. We are really praying that God would bless the show and have people moved by Nate's story and music. And that God would bless the sales of his cd's and shirts.

Tyler and I listened to some of Nate's songs last night and they were great! I am so sad, but we will be in Colorado on August 1st and won't be able to attend the show. We will pray that everything goes well. See you on Saturday!
That sounds like so much fun!! Maybe my boss will even let me leave work a little early that day, in fact, she may want to come too. I plan to be there!
I am so proud of Nate, and I think the songs are beautiful!! I will be there and be singing along, too!
I would love to come, and I know Nelwyn would enjoy it, also. I love what I have heard so far.
I wish we could go. I bet Wideawake groupie lady with one eye will be there front and center dancing enough for all of us!
