We have a good friend at our church that is a photographer and asked if she could take pics of our family so that she could use them for her website and portfolio. In return, we get professional family photos for free. Very good deal. So...she took some of the pics tonight at the pond at Central Market and she has just a select few up on her blog. You should check them out. They are amazing amazing amazing! The girls look BEAUTIFUL. She has so many more and says these aren't the best ones but that she just threw them up there quickly.

Saturday, July 29th
I thought we might need to make this a new post. We now know all the plans for Sunday, but I wanted to mention Saturday's plans again. For anyone that is in town and can come, we will gather out by the pool. If everyone would bring some kind of finger foods, that would be great! Also, Tyler mentioned homemade ice cream. Maybe we could get Nelwyn to make some! She made some last week that was delicious!! Melissa said she will make hot corn dip and also shrimp dip. I think things like that would be good instead of trying to plan an entire meal. We will just spread out the food in the bathhouse and eat it when we get ready. Also, maybe everyone should bring whatever drinks they want. I will make tea for those that want that. I think the whole weekend sounds like a lot of fun!

We have the pavillion at Whistle Stop Park reserved from 12:00 to 4:00 on Sunday, July 20th. (The other choices were 9:00 - 12:00 or 4:00 - 8:00.) Each family can bring their own food, drinks, and lawn chairs. Regarding Saturday, July 19th --- that afternoon those who are in town can come and swim at Betsy's pool. and bring finger food. Homemade ice cream will be furnished. I'm looking forward to our family gatherings. I wish Kyle and his family could be here with us.

Prayer Request
John and Tracy Sellers (close friends to Cody and me, they were also in our wedding) are expecting their first child. Tracy is scheduled to have a C-section this coming Thursday. Cody and I will be flying to Lubbock to be there for baby Elizabeth's birth. Please be praying for the safety of all who will be traveling, Tracy and baby Elizabeth as they go through surgery, and for John and Tracy as they begin parenthood! :) Thank you!

July 19th
The weekend of the 19th, Cody and I will are planning to come to Temple to see Joel, Shari, Gracie, and Jake!!! :) And, I think all the other out-of-towner's (Tyler, Mary Helen, Nate, Melissa, Jessica, Ava, Natalie, Matt, etc.) should come in as well. Maybe we can hang out by the pool (If thats ok with Betsy?) and/or have a cookout. What do you think?

Prayer Request : Taylor left this morning on a cruise with her friend Meg and part of Meg's family. They are going to Mexico. Pray for safety in travel as well as safety while in a foreign country. May the Lord bless them with good clean fun, lots of laughter, and wonderful memories! Taylor is precious to all of us and has been such a blessing to our family -- and we all love Meg, too. Thank you, Lord for your great faithfulness! Nana 1

Updated Prayer Request
Ok...I think we have a renter!!! The nicest old man rented it today for his son and daughter in law. His son will be coming home from Iraq in October and his daughter-in-law and grand-daughter will start living there in August. The man who is renting it is so sweet and keeps me on the phone for a minimum of 30 minutes every time we talk. I know what street he lives on in Belton, that he has lived there for 20 years, that he grocery shops at the HEB in Belton once a day, that he goes to Temple twice a day to take his wife to the antique stores, that he has three kids, that sometimes people get his street (River Oaks Dr.) confused with the neighborhood Riverplace in Belton and so on and so on. He goes on and on and on but he's just so nice that I stay on and talk to him. Anyway, he paid the deposit and will begin paying rent in August. Unfortunately Mindy didn't fulfill her obligation and pay July's rent but at least we will only be out that expense one month. Thank you to everyone who made this a matter of prayer!
